THE BOS DICTONARY

BoS has its own, globally used, vocabulary! The words and phrases below are used frequently on the board, on IM and in text messages. None of them have made it into the OED just yet (shocking we know) but we are working on this.

A-G

Alonsette(s) - Future babies planned with certain spanish driver. Fernanda, Fernandita. NOTE: Those who are planning to breed with Nico should use the term Rosbergers. Nicorette is a type of Nicotine gum, and although Nico IS highly addictive, he is not carcinogenic and thus his babies deserve more respect.

Beta - Short for Beta Reader. A Beta Reader will read and if necessary copy-edit fan fiction before it is posted on to the Board. We did not coin this one btw.

Brain Bleach - Substance required to get horrendous image out of brain. Usually requested/needed after a suggestion of a particularly scary pink pairing (see Slash) or anything involving Flabby.

Doing a Jenson - When you have promised someone something, change your mind and do everything in your power go get out of it

Driver Whore - Definition applied to a BoS member by herself when she is partial to many different drivers. To see professionals in action please check out the BoS board.

F.M.S - Abbreviation of F*ck Me Slowly. Used mostly in BoS picture threads to describe hotness to the extreme. The superlative of F.M.S. is F.M.V.S where the V stands for Very and the BoS member has usually just gone *THUD* (see THUD)

FLOC - Acronym of Fat Load Of Cash, nickname given to pay drivers (prime examples: Minardi and the former Spyker F1 team)

GSG - Abbreviation of Grumpy Spanish Git Fernando Alonso who does grumpy very well. And usually manages to look very hot while doing so. (see also Juantrum)

G.U.H - Abbreviation of Gorgeously Uber Handsome. Applies only to carefully selected drivers, riders and team personel. Some people are more qualfied than others! And some just don't have what it takes at all...*cough* Woobey* cough*

GUH - Mainly used in description of a hot HOT picture, derived from the noise used by the typer upon seeing said picture - for example "GUH that is an amazing picture" or "he looks totally GUH"

H-P

Iron Weight - Reference to a driver's more intimate parts, usually used when said driver is posing in snug overalls. We still miss the winning Iron Weight combination of Fernando Alonso and his 2005-2006 Renault overalls...

Juantrum - A full-scale temper tantrum thrown in the style of Juan Pablo Montoya. Includes various profanities but must include f*ck. Also accompanied by physical violence toward another individual or inanimate object. The Superlative is Juanandotrum - A full-scale temper tantrum with all the basic characteristics of a Juantrum. The Juanandotrum includes more hair flicking and a general tendency toward diva-like behaviour, and, of course, much more pouting.

*Meep* - Can be used in two capacities: 1. Ohmygosh! In fear. 2.Sound used when no other word can be uttered due to the stomach-plummeting sensation caused by a particularly hot driver pic or raunchy un-ed.

OTP - Abbriviation of One True Pairing - in fic, especially slash, a couple that seem destined to belong together.

*Ouch my ovaries*- Exclamation applied when viewing an overly cute pic of a driver posing with children that results in painful ovary explosion and the need to jump said driver and make cute driver babies!

Pennishness - Descriptive quality of an item (more favourably shoes) that would be deemed suitable for wearing by Pen Montizzi. Adjective form Pennish. A: I have three new pairs of shoes B: Three pairs? Pen will be proud! A: Well, not really- one is a pair of amphibious hiking sandals for work, one is a simple pair of flip flops, and the third are Pennish.

Photobucket (v) -to browse one's Photobucket account in hopes of re-living past thuds, wibbles, and/or episodes of FMS. May be done individually or in groups with other BoS members. I still have most of my laundry piled on my bed, but photobucketing is much more fun.

Pink Board - Where we stash our slash and smut. Very much over-18s.

Q-Z

Ralfpout: Nobody in the F1 paddock had a better full face pout than Ralf Schumacher. Used to express extreme displeasure and/or disappointment.

RCS - Abbreviation of Right-Click-Save. A disorder shared by all BoS members upon seeing certain pix (and leading to very full, cluttered and messy computers for most of them)

Slash - Comes from the '/' that seperates the two names of a pairing and refers to fanfiction written about a homosexual relationship. Generally refers to male/male stories with female/female stories referred to as femmeslash. On BoS these stories inhabit the Pink Board and are for over 18s only.

*Squee* - Written version of a gleeful noise, like a squeal but much more excited. Also see GUH and THUD. For example see posts by Miss Impy.

Takuma, (v) - To drive in a ...... unique.... manner. e.g. I was just driving along and some idiot Takuma-ed right across my lane!

THUD - Painful experience upon seeing a hot picture of driver -->

Trulli train - Slow moving line of traffic. Not technically created by BoS, but altered to serve our own purpose. e.g. Sorry I am late, boss, I got caught in a Trulli train.

Un-ed (n.) - 1. a) Used in regards to fic, an un-ed (abbreviation of un-edited) is an often graphic written description of sexual intercourse, an interlude of raw lust & unhindered desire directed at a particular driver. b) Or of two drivers if used in regard to slash or hot tubs. 2. Smut. Literary pornography. Note: Both are located in the Pink Board. In abundance!

Wibble - 1. occurs when pictures of drivers turn BoS members to jelly and 2. when a driver does something so cute or sweet that a member melts.
