Funny pictures, (drunk) MSN convos, fashion crimes and the uber brilliant MotoGPNews.com have all lead to driver and especially rider nicknames. If you have missed a convo or haven't followed a race class for a while you won't have a clue what we are on about. A new season means new nick names so this one will be updated throughout 2008.

The Drivers

Chin= Michael Schumachter

Doorknobs= Robert Doornbos (coined by his Jordan mechanics but it stuck)

Flip= Felipe Massa

Fred= Fernando Alonso

Marmot= Felipe Massa

Moo= the McLaren race car

Team Curry in a Hurry= Force India Racing Team

Team Jaws 'R Us= Red Bull Racing Team. Just look at their driver line up!

Woobey= Rubens Barrichello

Yeti= Nick Heidfeld (seriously, shave!)

The Riders

BoS' fave yokel/red neck= Nicky Hayden

Boyband= Mattia Pasini (coined by MotoGPNews for very obvious reasons)

Cheery= Alvaro Bautista

Curly= Andrea Dovisiozo

Em' s French Muffin= Sylvain Guintoli (It was an early morning race and we were talking food - see also Shannon's French/wee Croissant)

Grossa= Dani Pedrosa, probably the most hated rider within the BoS realm

Klingon= Mika Kallio. Another MotoGPNews coinage. Again for obvious reasons.

Manwhore= Toni Elias. The man is a sleaze. And before you claim otherwise,BoS witnessed it first-hand and had it confirmed by paddock peeps.

Mr Happy Undies= Randy de Puniet.

Shannon's French/wee Croissant= Randy de Puniet.

Toothy= Casey Stoner.

WhoreGay= Jorge Lorenzo. Blame The Gods for not being able to pronounce anything foreign.

 

The Others

Bernice= Bernie Ecclestone

Flabby= Flavio Briatore. Because he is (we saw the nude shots). We still want to come back as him in our next life though!

Maxine= Max Mosely

The Evil Midget= Bernie Ecclestone (Loads of reasons but the primary one is his ongoing threat to remove Silverstone and Albert Park from the F1 calendar)

The Gods= Jules Ryder and Toby Moody featuring Randy Mamola. Eurosport UK's very hilarious commentator/pit reporter threesome. Should be the sole global MotoGP commentator feed available.

The Toad= Jean Todt. No explanation needed.
